INTERACTIVE SOS
In case of emergency, trigger an interactive SOS message to GEOS, the Garmin-powered International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC) with professional 24/7 global monitoring. Trained staff is available to respond to your messages, track your device and notify emergency responders in your area - giving you the peace of mind that help is on the way. The Garmin IERCC will stay in touch with you and your emergency contacts until your situation is resolved.
TWO-WAY MESSAGING
Garmin products that include inReach technology are designed to keep you connected. The Iridium satellite network lets you send and receive custom and preset text messages or emails with a delivery confirmation.
APPS FOR YOUR DEVICE
The Garmin Explore™ and Earthmate® apps let you view your current location, plan and navigate routes, set and manage waypoints, and more from your smartphone or tablet. When paired with a compatible inReach device, you can use the apps for 2-way messaging, tracking and SOS capabilities over the 100% global Iridium network. No matter which inReach device you have, you can use the Garmin Explore website to plan your trip and view routes you’ve stored on your device.

Know before you go. Receive weather forecasts directly on your inReach device, so you can make educated decisions based on local conditions or the destination ahead. Choose from 3 forecasts: basic, premium non-marine and premium marine.

When wirelessly paired with select inReach devices via Bluetooth® wireless technology, the free Earthmate® app lets you use your smartphone or tablet for texting, tracking, map viewing and triggering an SOS from anywhere via your inReach device's connection. Earthmate also lets you access downloads of topographic maps, colour aerial imagery and more on your mobile device.
