Shipping Information
All items sold through Johnny Appleseed GPS are shipped with a traceable tracking number, and sourced from local and official authorised distributors. All of our stock is held locally in Australia (either in QLD, NSW or VIC) which means we can despatch your order the same day we receive it, as long as your order is placed before 2:30pm AEST. We offer three reliable delivery services:
Free Shipping
Australia wide Free shipping is available to eligible orders placed online using our website when selecting Australia Post eParcel as your delivery service. For your order to be eligible for free delivery, you will need to meet the following conditions:
- Before shipping, your total order cost must be $150 or over
- The total weight and volume of your order must be under 20kg
- Your order must be able to travel by regular Australia Post (some items, such as large power stations cannot and will not be eligible for free shipping, however you will receive a discount on other freight methods)
- Order must be completed online using our website (free shipping not valid on phone orders).
If your order meets the conditions for free shipping, but you would prefer to use an alternative delivery service, you may still be eligible for a discount equal to the original cost of the service being offered for free.
Johnny Appleseed GPS reserves the right to cancel or modify this free shipping offer at any time.
STANDARD
Australia Post
Typically delivered within 2-8 business days, and travels by road. Will deliver to PO boxes and Parcel Lockers. Cheapest delivery option, but slowest. If you are not there to sign for your delivery, it will be carded and returned to the nearest post office. If your order is under $100 you can flag it as Authority to Leave.
FAST
Express Post
Typically delivered overnight to 80% of Australian business and private addresses, with fastest possibly delivery links to other addresses. Will deliver to PO boxes and Parcel Lockers. If you are not there to sign for your delivery, it will be carded and returned to the nearest post office. If your order is under $100 you can flag it as Authority to Leave.
SPEEDY
StarTrack
Typically delivered overnight to 99% of Australian addresses. Will deliver to PO boxes and Parcel Lockers. The fastest and most reliable delivery company we have used. Trust us, we have tried a lot before settling with StarTrack (Previously Australian Air Express). If you are not there to sign for your delivery, it will be carded and returned to the nearest post office or Startrack depot. If your order is under $100 you can flag it as Authority to Leave.

Payment
Our on-line shopping cart accepts all major credit cards and PayPal. For phone and mail orders, we accept all major credit cards without surcharge, personal and business cheques or bank drafts and cheques, insurance company cheques, postal money orders, cash, direct deposits to our bank account by internet transfer, and telegraphic transfers. When paying by cheque, we cannot release the goods until the funds have cleared into our bank account.
We accept Government purchase orders.
Our GITC number for Queensland is Q-2522 and our QAssure Accreditation is #11233. We also accept purchase orders from approved business and corporate customers. In our shops, we accept all payment methods.
Cost & Despatch
Orders ship according to the advertised time for individual items on our website. This depends on the time the order is placed. Phone order shipping will be advised at the time of your phone call. Freight is calculated by our on-line shopping cart facility. You can check the freight cost before finalising your purchase.
International Shipping
At this time we do not ship internationally.
Defence Personnel
When ordering from Johnny Appleseed GPS, any goods we send to Defence personnel serving overseas are GST free!
We can supply any Defence person with goods free of GST, for shipment via the AFPO, NSW 2890.
