This key-locking powered vehicle dock (RAM-HOL-SAM58CPKL-NFCU) for the Samsung Tab Active5 & Tab Active3 comes with a RAM® NFC Extender. The NFC extender acts as an extension of the NFC reader on the back of the Tab Active5 & 3 giving end users easier access to the scanning function. With easier access to the NFC reader, tablet operators no longer need to remove the device from its docking station to scan — simply install the repeater on your docking station and give easy access to programs like Tap To Pay, asset tracking, time management, and more. The repeater extends to 30cm in length and installs on the back of the dock, directly behind the device's NFC reader.
This charging vehicle dock has been designed to meet the demands of commercial truck drivers, field service technicians, pupil transporters, logistics managers, forklift operators, and more. Power capabilities through the dock are provided to the device through pogo pin technology, taking advantage of the Tab Active5 & 3's pogo pad docking contacts—simply dock the device and the pogo pins match the pattern of the pogo pads for a seamless charging experience.
This dock is also compatible with the RAM® Skin™ or factory device skin, as well as GDS® Hand-Stand™ and shoulder strap accessories. Access to the stylus remains while the device is docked. Included is a set of four nuts and bolts to connect the dock to any RAM® components containing the universal AMPS hole pattern.
