The RAM-B-177 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Glare Shield Clamp Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Universal Diamond Plate.
This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for the aviation mounting by connecting to the glare shield lip.
The base has two composite bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the lip surface. A RAM 1" diameter rubber ball is connected to the base allowing you to connect a RAM 1" diameter arm socket and connection plates to create the perfect mount for your application. The hole pattern found on the diamond base adapter will connect to most RAM cradles.
Mount will attach to flat surfaces with the following dimensions:
Min: 4.4mm / 0.17"
Max: 28.0mm / 1.12
