Track your position in more challenging environments with Galileo, GPS and GLONASS satellite navigation networks. With up to 48 hours of battery life in navigation mode you can explore for longer periods of time and receive up to 1 week of battery life in UltraTrac mode.
Built-in BAC and GPS to Keep You on Track
Receive comprehensive navigation and tracking using GPS plus ABC (Altimeter, Barometer and Compass) sensors. The built-in altimeter provides you with elevation data to accurately monitor ascent and descent, while the barometer can be used to predict weather changes by showing short-term trends in air pressure. Keep your bearings with the 3-axis electronic compass whether you're moving or not.

The Foretrex 701 comes with Applied Ballistics Elite software, an excellent aid for hunters and target shooters - to help you calculate aiming solutions for long-range shooting.

With the Foretrex 701 you receive texts, emails and alerts from your mobile device. The Garmin Connect™ app features LiveTrack, allowing you to share your journey with others (within cellular coverage).
